Passport Office Srinagar Successfully Concludes Hindi Pakhwada 2025, Promotes Rashtriya Bhasha

Srinagar, Oct 1 (JKNS): The Passport Office, Srinagar successfully organised Hindi Pakhwada 2025 from 14th to 28th September, marked by enthusiastic participation and a collective commitment towards the promotion of Rashtriya Bhasha Hindi.

The fortnight-long celebrations included Hindi noting and drafting exercises, quiz contests, and poetry recitations, all conducted in Hindi.

Staff members from different sections of the office actively participated, reflecting their growing interest and pride in the national language.

Winners and participants were felicitated with certificates and awards in recognition of their efforts, encouraging the continued use of Hindi in official correspondence and day-to-day work.

Addressing the closing ceremony, Shri B.S. Rawat, Regional Passport Officer, Srinagar, appreciated the sincere involvement of employees and emphasised the importance of Hindi as a unifying force in the country.

He expressed hope that such initiatives would be organised regularly to further strengthen the use of Hindi in administrative functioning.

The successful conduct of Hindi Pakhwada 2025 at Passport Office Srinagar reflects the office’s commitment to linguistic inclusivity and contributes to the nationwide efforts of upholding the status of Hindi as the Rashtriya Bhasha. (JKNS)
