Jammu: 30 Mar 2020 The COVID-19 pandemic has spawned a challenge for the migrant workers across the country. Jammu also houses a large number of migrant labourers, who are left jobless amid the National lockdown. Shivalik Brigade of Tiger Division distributed food to the needy migrant labourers, in the areas of Transport Nagar and Sainik colony. A large number of families of workers were benefitted from this initiative. All the beneficiaries thanked the men in uniform and greatly appreciated this noble effort. They were assured that needful will be done to address their daily needs amid the national lockdown.
