After 47 days, body of missing man found in Gurez

Srinagar, April 02: After 47 days since Gurez avalanche, dead body of man was recovered from Kishen Ganga river near Markoot village on Thursday.As per the reports, the man was missing after an avalanche hit Chak Nallah area of Gurez on 15 February. The deceased was identified as Javaid Ahmad Lone, son of Abdul Aziz Lone of Dangithal village in Tulail.A senior police official told JKNS, following the incident, the police reached the spot and body was taken for medical formalities. Later the body was handed over to the family. (JKNS)
