2 Drug peddler arrested in Shopian

Srinagar: April 05: Police on Sunday said that it has arrested two drug peddlers and recovered 40 kgs of Charas (gharda) from their possession in Shopian district of south Kashmir.
“In its continuous offensive against menace of drug abuse today on a specific information a naka was laid down by police party of Shopian Police,” reads the statement.
During the naka 2 drug peddlers namely Aijaz Ahmad koka S/o Ghulam Mohammd Koka and Manzoor Koka Ahmad Koka S/o Ghulam Mohammd Koka residents of Melhora Shopian were arrested along with sizeable Charas Gharda , in this connection a case FIR No.20/2020 U/S 8/20 NDPS act stands registered in Police Station Zainapora, it said.(JKNS)
