Srinagar, April 07: An elderly man from north Kashmir’s Bandipora district has died of COVID-19 at Srinagar’s SMHS hospital, making him third casualty due the novel coronavirus in Jammu and Kashmir officials said.An official at GMC Srinagar told JKNS that the man was admitted to SMHS on Monday with cough, breathlessness, and pneumonia.”He died on Monday evening. His sample result came today which has revealed that he was a positive case of COVID-19,” the official said.With the new casualty, the number of deaths due to COVID-19 in J&K has risen to three, all from Kashmir.With the 15 fresh positive cases on Tuesday, 125 people have tested positive for the coronavirus disease and of them, 118 are active case 96 in Kashmir and 24 in Jammu.
