Appreciates role of administration, doctors, police, journalists and sanitization workers in Kashmir

Srinagar, April 08: BJP’s Kashmir Unit on Sunday extended greetings on the auspicious occasion of Shab-e-Barat and urged people to stay indoors and follow government advisories to combat the spread of Coronavirus.Party’s media-in-charge, Manzoor Bhat in a statement said Shab-e-Barat is one the most sacred nights where believers express their unshakeable faith in the Almighty.“Due to the prevailing situation, people should stay indoors. People should pray inside their homes as the whole world has been engulfed by the deadly virus,” he said adding that it is need of the hour.Bhat said also welcomed the decision of J&K administration to suspend congregational prayers on Shab-e-Baraat occasion and stated that such things are necessary to curb the spread of the pandemic.“Let this auspicious day bring heavenly bounties for all of us and whole world gets rid of the deadly virus,” he said.While appreciating the role of administration, doctors, police, journalists, and sanitization workers, Bhat said they are acting as the pillars in the society.”It is the time when we realize their importance and role and they should be appreciated for their role in the society,” Bhat said.As per him, government should also provide special bonuses to doctors, essential services employees and sanitization workers for their work during the past one month.“When people are staying at their homes, these employees are on their toes to risk their lives and urged government to facilitate them for their marvelous work during the pandemic situation.
