“Arogya Setu-App may be made mandatory for all working at ground level in J&K”: Darakhshan
Chairperson of Waqf Development Committee of Ministry of Minority Affairs, Govt and India and BJP senior leader Dr Darakhshan Andrabi has hailed the
efforts of the Jammu & Kashmir government to fight the Covid-19 situation. Dr Andrabi congratulated Lt Governor of J&K Shri G C Murmu, his advisory
team and the government machinery for his extraordinary performance in dealing witthe pandemic in the UT. “New Delhi is very appreciative of the
management and dealings of the UT administration in its fight against Corona Virus. Without any hue and cry, we are seeing J&K administration
doing a magnificent job in these times of crisis,” said Dr Darakhshan Andrabi. Dr Andrabi said that we all are in control of the situation throughout the
country and the J&K administration is doing a better job to address to the situations in very comprehensive way. “There is no shortage of essential
commodities and medicines in J&K. Central government have taken all necessary steps to help the UT administration in fulfilling the needs of
medical sector and supplies of essential commodities.” said Dr Darakhshan. She hailed the medical warriors, municipal and local body sanitization
workers and managers of the essential supplies sectors and media persons of Jammu & Kashmir for their exemplary contribution in this given trying
times. “Police and other security agencies have also exhibited their extraordinary dedication and power to enforce the lockdown in a very
impressive way,” said BJP spokesperson. Dr Andrabi appealed to the Lt Governor to ssue orders to make the use of Arogya Setu App mandatory for
all employees and media persons who are working in the field so that the patient tracking and the Covid-related information is made available to them
promptly and correctly. “Aroggya Setu App is a very potent way of tracking and informing and needs to be publicized among masses. Every person
should download the App and use it for the safety,” said Darakhshan. She appealed to the non-government organizations to enhance their social
outreach for helping people in need without embarrassing the needy by recordings and publicity.
