Srinagar, April 19: A 20-year youth from Botingoo area of north Kashmir Sopore town was tested positive for coronavirus infection, officials said.
A doctor at Sub-district Hospital wishing anonymity told JKNS that 20-year-old boy was tested positive for the coronavirus infection on Sunday and has a travel of New Delhi.“From past two days, the young boy was kept under quarantine and was tested on positive on Sunday,” the officials said.
Another official said that they have sealed the Botingoo village and the patient had returned a few days ago from New Delhi.
“We have sanitized the whole locality and declared it red zones. Our medical teams also conducted door to door rounds in the area. We are tracing his contacts,” the official said. (JKNS)
