Srinagar, April 24: The inhabitants of Nageen bagh area of Krankshivan colony in north Kashmir’s Sopore Friday expressed their resentment against the authorities for failing to relocate the ration depot in the area.A group of residents told JKNS that Food Corporation of India (FCI) has opened their ration depot in the village, but that is presently in dilapidated condition.“Every year people of the year suffer, during rains and snowfall it becomes difficult to reach out to the place leaving them high and dry,” they said. Ali Mohammad, a local told JKNS that the administration has failed to look into the issue. Despite repeated pleas to the administration things have remained unchanged on the ground. He said during rains, foul smell is emanating from the ration depot as water enters the shop. There is no one who can address their pleas, Mohammad said. The villagers appealed Governor led administration and Director FCI to look into the issue, so that people would not suffer in the area and they would get a sigh of relief from the issue.
