After 5 days, 5 more test positive in Srinagar

DC calls for more caution

Srinagar, April 25: After witnessing no coronavirus cases for the past five days, on Saturday fresh five cases were reported in Srinagar.
Deputy Commissionr Srinagar, Shahid Choudhary, has said that the situation calls for more caution. “See the Covid map of Srinagar and think,” he said on Twitter.
“We’ve 5 new cases after a break of more than a week. Trust us for all your needs. Local solutions being worked out,” he wrote on Twitter.
On Saturday, Kashmir recorded its biggest Covid-19 spike as 40 fresh cases were reported in less than 24 hours.
The total positive cases now 494 in Jammu and Kashmir with Jammu-57 Kashmir-437, while 6 deaths have reported in the region. (JKNS)
