May 02: Acting tough against the violators of Government prohibitory orders, Kulgam Police have arrested 11 persons and seized 02 vehicles for defying the restriction orders imposed by the Government.In the jurisdiction of Police Station Yaripora, officers have arrested 09 persons for violating Government prohibitory orders over COVID-19. Case FIR number 47/2020 under relevant sections of law has been in PS Yaripora and investigation into the matter has been initiated.In the jurisdiction of Police Station Qazigund, officers have arrested 02 persons and seized 02 vehicles for violating Government prohibitory orders over COVID-19. Case FIR number 127/2020 under relevant sections of law has been in PS Qazigund and investigation into the matter has been initiated.Kulgam Police have once again requested the general public to follow the restrictions imposed by Government in order to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
