Srinagar, May 02: The inhabitants of Rohama area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district expressed dismay over the dilapidated condition of Rohama-Khahmoo road, giving tough time to commuters.Expressing dismay over the condition of the road, residents told JKNS that from six months, Roads and Buildings (R&B) department has failed to repair this road.According to locals potholes on the road the cracks were developed and till date, they have not been repaired by the department. This road is vital as most of the vehicles pass through it,” they said.Irfan Ali, a local told JKNS that last year some patch of the road was macadamized, but it developed cracks which can lead to accidents in the area.”This road connects dozens of villages. It is in a very bad condition and administration has completely forgotten this road, he said.The residents appealed Lieutenant Governor led administration and Chief Engineer R&B Kashmir to look into the issue.An official R&B told JKNS that after lockdown, the department would macadamize the road portion (JKNS)
