Ganderbal police seizes 06 commercial vehicles; arrests drivers for defying Govt prohibitory orders

May 18: Acting tough against the violators of Government prohibitory orders, Police have seized 06 commercial vehicles and arrested the drivers of these vehicles for violating Government prohibitory orders in Ganderbal.

Officers in the jurisdiction of Police Post Shadipora have seized 06 commercial vehicles and arrested 06 drivers for defying Government prohibitory orders issued under u/s 144 Cr.PC.Accordingly, case FIR No. 100/2020 under relevant sections of law has been registered against them and further investigation into the matter has been initiated.Police have once again requested the general public to follow the restrictions imposed by Government in order to prevent the spread of Covid-19 and those who are violating the restriction orders will be dealt strictly.
