Takes stock of arrangements put in place to deal with Covid-19 cases at GMC Doda
DODA, JUNE 02: District Development Commissioner, Dr Sagar D Doifode today inspected various quarantine centres established in Doda town and took stock of facilities put in place to deal with the Covid-19 cases.
The DDC visited Mezban Hotel, Girls Higher Secondary School Doda and AH GMC Doda and took stock of facilities which have been put in place to deal with the Covid-19 cases.
The DDC during the inspection interacted with the staff deputed there and asked them to deal with the Covid-19 cases as per the set guidelines. He also asked them to ensure their own safety with utmost priority.
While inspecting the AH GMC Doda, the DDC directed the hospital authorities to restrict the unnecessary entry of the people and to avoid unnecessary gatherings within and outside the premises of the hospital. He also directed the MS associated Hospital GMC Doda to ensure that only one attendant shall be allowed with the patient in the IPD wards.
Regarding sanitation DDC directed the EO MC Doda to conduct the extensive sanitization of the premises within and outside on daily basis and warned the concerned that any laxity on this part shall be dealt seriously.
Meanwhile, the DDC interacted with the patients admitted in different wards at GMC Doda and enquired about their health status and directed the hospital administration to provide all kind of health care facilities to the patients.
The DDC directed the ADMO ISM to provide immune booster medicines to entire quarantine centres across the district without any fail, adding to this he also directed them to distribute these medicines among other frontline functionaries who are working day and night tirelessly to deal with the Covid-19 cases across the district.
MS Associated Hospital GMC Doda Dr Yaqoob Mir, District Epidemiologist Umar Anayat Khan, BMEO Ghat Mashhood Zargar, Faizan Ali Tramboo, District Media Coordinator NHM, besides Nodal officer of the designated quarantine centres accompanied the DDC.
