DDC Anantnag reviews progress of R&B and PMGSY Sectors

ANANTNAG, JUNE 10: District Development Commissioner, Anantnag, K.K Sidha today reviewed the progress of Roads and Buildings (R&B) and PMGSY Sectors here in a meeting at Dak Bungalow Khannabal Anantnag.

The DDC was apprised about the finalised and under progress works of R&B and PMGSY besides other projects and schemes that are being taken up under said sectors in the district during the meeting,.

The meeting was also informed that under PMGSY, out of 242 approved schemes, 181 schemes have been completed, connecting 147 habitations by the end of May 2020.

Likewise, among others, under the district sector, out of the released amount of Rs 226.0275 lacs, an amount of Rs. 106.484 lacs has been expended by R&B Anantnag till ending March 2020.

Similarly, a cumulative expenditure of Rs 436.13 lacs has been made under District CAPEX Budget 2020-21 and also under NABARD, a cumulative expenditure of Rs 6304.59 lacs has been done for 38 schemes by the end of March this year under R&B Sector, the meeting was informed.

The DDC stressed upon the Engineers to ensure the completion of all the ongoing works both within the stipulated time period and ensure adherence to SOPs.

He further directed the concerned for framing proposals for construction of footpaths alongside the bridge for the pedestrians.

SE R&B, all the Executive Engineers of R&B and PMGSY along with their AEEs and AD Planning attended the meeting.
