Headless body: Ganderbal and Srinagar families asked to come for DNS sampling on Monday

Srinagar, July 5,: The headless body that was fished out by Sumbal Police from the river Jehlum has not been identified yet.

A police official told news agency that the body is headless and without lower limbs, and has been kept in GMC Mortuary.

He said so for two families have approached Police staking claim for the dead body. “One family is from Ganderbal while another family is of missing Phd Scholar from Bemina area of Srinagar city.”

He said both these families were advised to come on Monday for DNA sampling exercise.
