*Director SKIMS close contacts, AO policy, AO personal among several administrative officials tested positive in SKIMS*
*HOD Gastroenterology’s ERCP patient also tested positive, both Director SKIMS and HOD evading testing*
Srinagar: Despite several officials including Administrative Officer Policy (AO), Administrative Officer Personal Section, a Section Officer, junior assistant in Administrative Block in SKIMS has tested positive and all close contacts of the Director SKIMS Soura, the administrative block has not been sealed and sanitized so far.
Director SKIMS, whose two close contacts AO Policy and AO personal have tested positive yesterday, is yet to get quarantined and tested besides (HOD) Gastroenterology department SKIMS who has done ERCP of a patient day before yesterday, the patient also tested positive, sources told on conditions of anonymity.
“Both Director SKIMS and HOD Gastroenterology are evading tests despite knowing the fact their close contacts have tested positive and are symptomatic,” a top health official in SKIMS said.
The official further said that AO are admitted in Vet Lab in SKIMS along with other officials. AO personal who is from Chadora is being shifted to SKIMS. One more employee in Policy Section has also tested positive.
