President Anjuman Sharie Shian, Aga syed Hassan Mosavi al-Safavi was shifted to SKIMS for hypoxemia, where later on he was also tested COVID-19 positive. Aga Saheb is stable and being treated in the COVID ward of the Institute.
Aga saheb is under house detention post the 370 abrogation. Aga’s health has evidently deteriorated during last one year of confinement and developed multiple complications.
Though, Aga was not in directly exposed to any COVID patient but complained of a mild fever a couple of days before, after what his son, Aga Syed Muntazir Mehdi too showed low symptoms and later tested positive.
Aga directed an unparalleled mitigation against COVID-19 through his mass based organisation. The mitigation includes food aid, PPEs, oxygen and social care etc. Aga facilitated workshops, online consultations regarding the measures to be taken in this pandemic. Aga Sahib openly supported and initiated closure of religious and educational places for people’s wellbeing.
Meanwhile, his acquaintances in close proximity have already gone into self-Quarantine. Others are also requested to look after themselves and fully isolate in case of contact.
The organisation is in deep pain and extend support and prayers to the President and his family. We appeal to the Anjuman Sharie Shian Family to pray for Aga Saheb’s health and the health of all COVID patients throughout the world.
