Shopian Encounter: Four Militants Killed ,Operation Over

Four Militants have been killed in an encounter that broke out between militants and government forces in Amshipora Area of South kashmir’s Shopian district on Saturday morning.

An official told that Four Militants has been killed in an exchange of fire and there bodies with arms & ammunition were recovered from a cow shead where they were killed.

Earlie today The encounter broke out after a joint team of Police, Army’s 62 RR and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation on specific information about the presence of militants in the area. As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon them which was retaliated triggering an encounter.
