Today international human rights Council state vice president Mr H R Rehman visit Dharam, Gool in district Ramban with District president Ramban Gulzabeer Ahmed Chairman Gulzar Ahmed Member Paramjeet singh, layakat , Barkat ali, Rattan Singh, Arshad Hussain on the request and phone calls of Workers, those were working in the GAMMON Company .
While meeting with the Agitators, Sarpanch of the concerned area Said that all the locals were terminated without any prior notice and Confidence due to this pandemic by the Gammon India pvt. Ltd. While talking with the people state Vice president HR Rehman and distt president Gulzabeer ahmed assure the terminated workers to raise their genuine demands to the Higher Authorities
and also help them to resettle their remuneration and minimum wages.
Sarpanch Manira begum, Atta mohd Sarpanch , Javed Ahmed Manhas Chairman dharam ,Mushtaq ahmed Panch were also present with the workers and assure them to stay always with their basic human rights.
H R Rehman listen grievences of the workers and demand to Deputy Commissioner Ramban and GM Gammon India for immediate redressel of the local workers to their work instead of taking outsiders in their place. It is completely injustice for these workers. These are those people who were suffering from the dust,chemical pollution and disturbance from the constructional work of the company and also lost their piece of land for that work. So, Finally we requested to DC Ramban and GM of Gammon pvt. Lyd. to assure justice for these local workers and resettle them in their places of work so that they can afford their livelihood easily.
