*Man dies after kite string cuts his throat*
Glass-coated kite thread cut the throat of a middle aged man resulting in his death here in Jammu city late Friday night.
Official sources told news agency that 44 year man, identified as Muhammad Sikandar Khan was on way towards his home on his scooter when a kite string entangled around his neck. Blood started oozing out from his neck shortly after coming in contact with the glass-coated kite threat.
He was rushed to hospital where doctors declared him dead. The incident occurred in the New Plot area of Jammu A police official while confirming the death of the scooter rider said that some unknown person had lost control over his kite and while dropping on the ground, the thread entangled around the neck of the victim.He said a case has been registered and investigation taken up.
