One person was killed and two others injured when a vehicle they were travelling in met with an accident in Mankote in Poonch district on Tuesday.
Official sources told that Maruti Swift (JK12A-9812) met with accident at Achchad Pehliyan, resulting into on the spot death of one person— 16-year-old boy, Attah Mohammad son of Shah Mohammad of Salani—and injuries to the driver, Shah Mohammad (father of the deceased) and his sister Saleema Akhtar wife Manzoor Hussain.
SHO Mendhar Manzoor Kohli confirmed the death of the boy and told that the injured have been shifted Sub District Hospital Mendar.
