ChakKigam Camp* under aegis of *Charkut garrison* continues it’s effort to reach out to common people aiming at harmonious integration of AWAM in the region. Time and again sports has been a medium to bring social change and acted as a fillip and passport to a better life. Seeing the great enthusiasm amongst the public today *Army distributed Cricket kit and renovated the ground at Shumrial* to provide the youth a chance to showcase their talent and hopefully making it big some day. The initiative of *Charkut Garrison* is part of *Operation Sadhbhavna – a public outreach programme* which is bearing fruits that can be noticed with a positive environment, peace and normalcy in the area. The effort of Army was very well appreciated by the locals and elders. The Cricket Distribution programme is not only the sign of support and assistance but also an indication of standing hand to hand with the *AWAM* of Kupwara at every difficult times.
