Jabbar Condoles Demise of NC Senior Activist Ab Rehman Sheikh

Ganderbal Aug 16: National Conference Senior Leader, Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar(former MLA from Ganderbal) has expressed shock and sorrow over the demise of National Conference Senior Activist Abdul Rehman Sheikh of Wakura who passed away on Sunday.

In his condolence message, the Jabbar described Ab Rehman death a loss for the Ganderbal district. He maintained thatAb Rehman was a respected gentleman and his contribution for the betterment and welfare of the down trodden people will be always remembered.

Ishfaq remembered the enormous contribution and sacrifices Ab Rehman Sheikh had made for the State, especially with Sher-i-Kashmir Sheikh Mohd Abdullah and his Father Sheikh Abdul Jabbar.

Jabbar lauds his family especially his son for advocating social distancing and avoid large gatherings, respect the guidelines in this hour of grief and not to gather either at his residence or the graveyard and pray and offer fatehkhawani from home.

The NC leader conveyed his heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family and prayed to the Almighty Allah for eternal peace to the departed soul beside a place for him in heaven. He also prayed to Almighty Allah to give strength to the family members of the deceased family to bear the irreparable loss.

National Conference Working Committee district Ganderbal Block President Ganderbal Ab Mjid, Block President Shairpathri Gulzar Ahmad Khan, Block President Lar Ab Aziz Bhat, Block President Wakura Gh Ahmad Wani Block President Batwina Ab Rehman , Block President Fakh Fayaz Ahmad Block President Kangan Gh Nabi Block President Gund Mehraj u din, Youth district President Mir Mushtaq and women wing Ganderbal also expressed grief over the demise of Abdul Rehman.

They paid rich tributes to the deceased and said that Ab Rehman was a “towering activist” of the party and his sudden demise is a big loss for us and for the entire district.

“He will always remain alive in our heart and soul,” they said, adding he worked like a true soldier whenever the party faced any difficulty.

They prayed for peace to the departed soul and strength to the family in bearing this irreparable loss.
