Srinagar, Sep 2: Drug Controller Department here in Kashmir capital Srinagar seized over 2000 Corex bottles from a rented room on Wednesday afternoon.
Sources told KNT that a team from Drug Controller Department, along with a police party from police station Karan Nagar raided a store-room at ‘Ismail Complex’ Chota Bazar Karanagar and seized over 2000 Corex bottles.
A police official while confirming the raid said that the said room was taken on rent by one one Adil Farooq, a resident of Tanki pora Srinagar.
He said investigation is going on.
Pertinently, Corex syrups are usually used by people mostly teens as substitute drug. (KNT)
