Several cars damaged in mysterious explosion in Rajouri village

Rajouri, Sept 06: A mysterious explosion in Maira Chowkian village of Rajouri district in Jammu division rocked the area late last night following which police started investigation into the matter.

A police official told the news agency— that at around 11 PM, a medium intensity explosion took place near some residential houses in Maira Chowkian village of Rajouri

He said that in the explosion few cars got damaged besides some fencing walls.

“It seem as if some explosive material was thrown towards the spot that caused damaged,” the official said.

He added that senior police officers have rushed to the spot and investigation into the matter was going on—
