Srinagar Police ensured Smooth and Peaceful conduct of NEET exams in Srinagar

September 13: National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) was scheduled today in the valley and Srinagar had almost 20000 candidates appearing at 56 Exam Centers at various locations across the district. In order to ensure smooth & peaceful conduct of exams, elaborate Police deployment plan was put in place in which 276 Police Officers and 3552 Police officials were deployed which included CAPF as well.

Srinagar Police is committed to serve the citizens on all the fronts therefore Special focus was given for the safety and security of the examination centres and even night Deployments were made around all such centres including ones deep in vulnerable areas of the city. This is a big challenge for the Police to ensure secure and smooth movement of staff, students and their parents/family members from across the valley.

Srinagar Police had made a comprehensive and meticulously planned security arrangement taking the sensitivity of the Exam in mind and the location of the Exam centers in consideration.

Braving Covid-19 challenges on ground, officers and jawans of Police and CAPF made it possible because of their commitment to purpose.

Traffic Police City Srinagar had also made elaborate parking arrangements around the Exam centers and they managed the smooth movement of traffic throughout day.
