On 27/09/2020 Police Station Sherghari recieved a complaint from one Sohail Ahmed Pinchoo R/O Noorbagh Srinagar, to the effect that he is receiving threatening calls from one anonymous phone No. 9055786000. The caller is introducing himself as DYSP Cargo & is continuously harassing the complainant.
On receipt of this Complaint FIR no 56/2020 U/S 419, 506 IPC was registered at PS Sherghari & Investigation taken up.
During investigation it came to fore that the that said phone no. belongs to one
Nazir Ahmed Sheikh
S/O Mohd Yousaf Sheikh
R/O Botakadal Lal Bazar Srinagar. While searching his Phone No. on True caller App, his name is shown as DYSP CM Residence, which he has saved deliberately to cheat & threaten the public. The above mentioned accused was immediately arrested & investigations started in the instant case.
