In line with his endeavour to take first hand stock of the performance and problems of the staff, J&K Chairman and Managing Director R K Chhibber had an interaction with the staff posted at Advances Department and Cluster Offices of Jammu Central I at Zonal office Jammu.

Zonal Head Sunit Kumar was also present in the meeting.

Hailing the staff for their exemplary dedication, determination and professionalism during the tough Covid-19 times, the CMD stressed for effective synergy between the controlling offices and business units to deliver in accordance to expectations of the customers.

“ There is a strong bond between people of J&K and Ladakh and J&K Bank, and, the relationship can only be strengthened if we live up to the expectations of the people. For effective delivery of banking and allied services, controlling offices should assist business units for prompt disposal of credit proposals and other queries,” he said.

He hailed the staff of the zone for good performance under GECL scheme and urged them to put a special focus on Retail and Forex business.

“Banking industry has been affected by Covid 19 pandemic big time, but I am confident that dedication and determination of the staff will help J&K Bank to undo the effects of the slowdown caused due to ensuing lockdowns. Make sure priority sector lending targets are realized,” he said while pressing for active participation in Back to Village programme of the UT government.

Zonal Head had a vote of thanks for the CMD on behalf of the staff.
