JKSC hold talent hunt event in Bandipora

Bandipora, Oct 11: Jammu and Kashmir students corner Sunday organized a day long talent hunt programme here in Space age Model higher secondary school in Kaloosa area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district. The aim of the event was to bring the students’ talent to the fore.

The event comprised of competitions held in the categories of Debate, Poetry, Novels. A large number of students from various reputed schools of Bandipora district participated in the event.

More than 150 students participated in the programme which was organized by Jammu and Kashmir students corner. A large number of parents including prominent personalities and army officers from Bandipora attended the programme.

The motive behind the programme was to promote speaking talent among students. A poetry competition was also held during the event.

Professor Ismail Ashna, founder of the Mehboob-ul-Alaam college was the chief guest of the on the occasion. He later distributed certificates and trophies among the winners.

Speaking on the occasion, Professor Ismail Ashna said the Bandipora district is blessed with students full of talent and they need to be motivated to excel in different fields.

Meanwhile, the organizers of the event offered their heartfelt gratitude to Chairman MA group of colleges Mohammad Ramzan Bhat and 2IC 14 RR Major Negi for gracing the occasion with their presence.
