NC, PDP nowhere in LHC polls, will soon show them doors in JK: Ashok Koul
Srinagar, October 12: BJP General Secretary (Org.) Shri Ashok Koul on Monday inaugurated the eBook prepared by Media and Information Technology Department highlighting ‘work done by its cadre during lockdown’ and praised the party workers for working constantly during the pandemic.
Koul said during the lockdown, BJP was the first party who reached grassroots and distributed more than 38650 packets of food across the valley while around 65 thousand masks were also distributed among the people.
Following the eBook launch event, a party meeting was also held in which security of BJP workers was reviewed and preparations for the panchayat elections in the Union Territory.
Koul urged party workers for unity and togetherness on the occasion and as both NC and PDP are trying to setup their proxy candidates in the upcoming elections.
“Fielding proxy candidates or boycott elections will not affect the work of BJP in Kashmir. We are strong and have full faith in the people of Jammu and Kashmir,” Koul said.
While lamenting on both NC and PDP parties, Koul said they are nowhere in the upcoming Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council elections and soon they will be shown in Kashmir and Jammu also.
“BJP has fielded their candidates in Ladakh and some independent candidates have also filed their forms but NC and PDP workers are nowhere in the list,” he said.
The eBook highlights the works done by the BP during lockdown and appreciated its leaders for working tirelessly during the past 7 months. The Information Technology team was headed by Kashmir Media and IT Incharge Manzoor Bhat.
As per the eBook, hundreds of the workers of the party were inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s motto of ‘Sewa hee Sangathan’ (the basis of organization is service).
On the occasion, many senior leaders were present including UT Vice President Sofi Yousuf, UT Spokespersons GM Mir, Altaf Thakur, Dr Darakhshan Andrabi, UT Secretary Dr Fareeda, Ex MLC Surinder Ambardar & Publicity Secretary Arif Raja and they appreciated the work of its party cadre in the Kashmir. During the meeting, it was also highlighted that BJP’S helpline received thousands of calls during the pandemic and their problems were redressed immediately by the party workers.
