Srinagar, Oct 21 : The Crime Branch on Wednesday filed a chargesheet against a Kupwara resident, who is allegedly involved in grabbing money from aspirants on the pretext of providing them government jobs.
According to a statement issued to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), CB Kashmir said it presented a charge sheet in a case under FIR number 50/2018 against Abdul Majeed Mir, son of Abdul Rahim Mir of Lashtyaal Kalaroos Kupwara before the court of City Judge Srinagar.
“The court has issued Non bailable warrant against the accused and the next date of hearing has been fixed on 23-11-2020, the statement issued here said
Pertinent to mention that Crime Branch Kashmir received a complaint forwarded by CJM Pulwama to investigate the complaint of Abdul Majeed Kuchar, son of Ghulam Qadir Kuchay of Panzoo Aripal, Tral district Pulwama.
“Enquiry revealed the allegations of grabbing of money from the aspirants on the pretext of providing them government jobs in the complaint against the accused to be correct, consequently the investigation was taken up,” CB said—
