Srinagar Police in its offensive against drug peddlers, Police party of Police Station Parimpora stopped vehicle Alto bearing Redg. No. JK22A 9281 driven by one namely:
Bilal Ahmad Mir
S/o Gh Mohd Mir
R/o Nowpora Tral and during search 425 bottles of codine phosphate and 2304 capsules of Spaslock Proxyvon was found in his vehicle, were recovered. The recovered illicit drugs/vechile were seized on the spot and person arrested.
In this regard Case FIR No. 230/2020 U/S 8/21 NDPS Act stands registered in Police Station Parimpora and investigation has been taken up.
Locals of the area have hailed the Police action & are expecting that this type of action against drug menace shall continue in future also.
