1. Continuing with the Indian Army’s efforts to engage with the local youth of Kashmir, Sarvada Yuddhe Bde organised *”YOUNGISTAN Dil Se Bhag”* *Run For Fun : Marathon & Walkathon* on 25 Oct 2020. It was one of the Kind event organized for first time in OAF Mil Stn.
2. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation of students from local schools wherein a *total of 160 boys & 60 girls participated* in Marathon & Walkathon respectively. The individuals securing top 4 positions in each category were awarded with Cash Awards, Certificates and Medals. All the participants were felicitated with Participation Certificate and a Cap for the memoirs of the day.
3. The aim of the event was to motivate the youth of Valley to join the Indian Army and to show them Army Cannt. The youth were pumped with Josh by words of Sarvada Yuddhe Cdr.
4. The students expressed their gratitude to Indian Army for having organised such an event & in the same breath, they replied on “Hows The Josh” to “High Sir” and requested for more such events to be conducted in the future.
5. The event was also witnessed by Mr Shabaz Ahmed Mirza, DC Budgam and Mr Amod Ashok, SSP Budgam.
