28 Rashtriya Rifles under the aegis of 8 Sect RR is inaugurated *”Stand United Football Cup”* on 27 Oct 2020 at Model Vill, Chandigam.
A total of 16 teams are participating in the tournament from across the valley. The tournament will be conducted on League cum Knockout basis.
The first match was played between *Valley Football Club, Kupwara and Mars Football Club, Dorus*.
The aim of the tournament is to strengthen the bond between Army and Youth and give the message that *”Jawan and Awam Stand United”.*
The inaugural ceremony was attended by Mr Shahzad Mattoo, DSP Sogam, Mr Tauseef Ah, SHO Sogam, Mr Mohd Shafi, Principal GDC Sogam and various other dignitaries.
