On 24.10.2019 one Uzair Yousuf S/o Mohammad Yousf Malik R/o Heaven Colony Eidgah lodged a written complaint in Police Post Qamarwari that during intervening night of 23&24/10/2019 some unknown persons entered in M.I. Service Centre located at Qamarwari Near Shah Cinema and stole some Mobile Phones, Laptops etc.
On this information a case FIR No. 343/2019 U/S 457, 380 IPC was registered in Police Station Parimpora and investigation was taken up .
A special team comprising of DO Qamarwari, DO Bemina headed by SHO Parimpora under the overall supervision of SDPO WEST was constituted.
During the course of investigation crime scene was examined/scientific evidence /CCTV footage was collected and accordingly a number of suspects were questioned. Among other suspects, two suspected persons namely:
Mohammad Sadat Hussain
S/o Mohammad Abdullah Hussain
R/o Fareedabad Haryana at present Palpora Noorbagh and
Abdul Rehman Sheikh
S/o Qurban Ali Sheikh
R/o Taimur Nagar Delhi at present Tengpora Srinagar were questioned and both were found involved in the instant case and both the persons were formally arrested in the case and on their disclosure,12 No. of Mobile Phones of XIAOMI Brand and 03 No. Laptops of different companies were recovered from their possession.
Both the accused persons are under police custody and the investigation of the case is going on.
