Gul visits Rehbab Sahab Shrine, interacts with devotees

Local party functionaries accompany him to shrine

Srinagar,19 November, 2020: J&K National Conference Senior Leader & Former Speaker J&K Assembly Haji Mubarak Gul today paid obescience at Rehbab Sahib (RA) Shrine at Aali Kadal.
On the occasion he interacted with the devotees there, who apprised him about the widespread Governance defecit, administrative inertia and paucity of basic civic amenities in Sheh re Khas areas, the devotees also rued the shortage of water and erratic power supply in the Sheh re Khas areas adding that long unscheduled power outages have hit normal life and made it impossible for the people especially poor to withstand the ongoing winter chill.
Gul on the occasion said that he will raise the issues concerning the people at all appropriate forums.
In addition to that Gul greeted the devotees on the ongoing annual Urs of Hazrat Sheikh Syed Abdul Qadir Jeelani (RA) ,saying that sufism has all through being mainstay of Kashmiri culture and ethos which has fashioned our society and day to day lives.
He prayed for the well being of the people and salvaging of the humanity from the ongoing Covid induced crises.
On the occasion Gul was festooned and garlanded by the people.
Meanwhile NC ULB candidate Mrs.Nuzhat Ara was also felicitated on the occasion.
Party Senior Leader also prayed for the victory of ULB candidate hoping that she will live up to the cause of party and deliver on ground. Gul said that NC has traditionally served the interest of Srinagar and ensured all round sector development of the city from time to time.
Among others Block President NC Eidgah Haji Abdul Khaliq Sofi, Haji Mohammad Maqbool Mir, Mohd Ameen Tekka, Block Secretary Yunis Mubarak Gul,Nazir Ahmad, Riyaz Ahmad Mir,Mohammad Shafi,Ghulam Qadir Ilahi, Mohammad Sultan Malik,Ghulam Qadir Nihami,Tanvir Ahmad Bhat,Tahir Zaman Shah,Mrs.Neelofer, Manzoor Ahmad Lone, Altaf Ahmed,Abdul Khaliq,Javaid Ahmad,Faheem Nissar, Zahid Hussain Mir,Abdul Gani Khan, Fahid Ahmad were present on the occasion.
