Ganderbal, 20 Nov 2020 : Ganderbal Police in its recent action against drug peddlers arrested one more person along with codeine phosphate bottles.
According to police statement on the directions of SSP Ganderbal Khalil Ahmad Poswal to establish a routine nakas in District Ganderbal, .
Police party of Police Station Lar led by SHO PS Lar Salfi Arshid during naka checking intercepted one vehicle viz; Maruti 800 bearing registration No. JK09- 2682 while checking Codeine Phosphate consignment were recovered from the possession of one person namely Aadil Ahmad Wani S/O Ali Mohd Wani R/O Shuhama, Ganderbal. The said person was apprehended, recovered substances and above mentioned vehicle were also seized on spot.
In this regard, instant Case FIR No 90/2020 U/S 8/21 NDPS Act was registered at P/S Lar and investigation taken up.
People hailed the action of Ganderbal Police and community members appreciated Ganderbal Police for its efforts to keep society free from scourge of drug menace
