Srinagar, Nov 20 : Senior BJP leader and Union minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi on Friday said that Congress was propagating that no Muslim country will support Modi Government if he will remain in power but Modi is leader which was most welcomed Muslim countries.
Adressing an election rally for District Development Polls (DDC) in Balhama area of Srinagar district.
Naqvi said Saudi Arabia, UAE and other gulf countries were the first who extended support to Prime Minster Narendra Modi leadership.
” Congress failed at all levels and their Muslim and minority card did not work at all,” he said.
The Union Minister said that those who are dreaming of restoration of Article 370 are living in fools paradise.
” Article 370 cannot be restored back and those people who are talking of such things should stop exploiting people for their vested interests,” he said.
Naqvi said the Congress and “dynasty” is supporting those people “who want to throw Kashmir back into the quagmire of separatism and terrorism”.
“The enthusiasm with which people are getting associated with BJP across Kashmir valley is an eye opener that people want to live with dignity,” he said.
Regarding Gupkar Alliance leaders, Naqvi said they are misleading the people of Jammu and Kashmir for the sake of chair and power.
” To hide their misdoings amd corruption from the past 70 years, Gupkar gang has activated themsleves. They want to divert the attention of people from development and peace and want to put Jammu and Kashmir again into dark rule,” he said.
Naqvi urged people to support, Engineer AijaZ Hussain from Balhama and so that he will work for development and peace in the area
Party General secretary and Incharge Kashmir affairs, Vibodh Gupta said the Gupkar declaration is mere an eyewash and these leaders should be ashamed.
“Both these Gupkar gang leaders have exploited Jammu and Kashmir from the past 70 years and people are aware about their tactics,” he said.
Gupta said people should BJP candidates in upcoming DDC elections and extend their support to party workers.
“After seeing good response from the people, we are hopeful that BJP will clean sweep DDC polls in Kashmir,” he said.
