Army organized friendly volleyball matches for boys

Srinagar : A volleyball competition and event to distribute sports kit was organised as part of Operation Sadhbhavana by the Rashtriya Rifles Battallion under the aegis of HQ 31 Sub Area at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Shivpora the event aimed to motivate the young sportsmen of the valley, equip them with sports kit and to build better synergy between army and the local population. The match was conducted between local teams of Srinagar.
The game was played between Paul Brothers and Batwara Hitmen team. It commenced amid lots of enthusiasm and excitement. Both the teams displayed outstanding skills, sportsmanship and camaraderie. The match was well contested and it enthralled the audience till the end and Paul Brothers emerged as deserving winners. The event was witnessed by the local population who cheered and motivated both the teams. Trophy for winner and runner-up team and medals for best players were presented after the match.
The teams were felicitated with sports kit which were presented to both the teams. This would motivate them to hone their skills thereby enabling them to participate at state and national level competitions. The participants and their families expressed their gratitude and thanked Indian Army for undertaking such endeavors.
