District Legal Services Authority Ganderbal held a Seminar today in the Court premises Ganderbal in connection with the flag day celebrations of the “Communal harmony Campaign week” being observed by the National Foundation for Communal Harmony (NFCH).
A seminar was held on the topic of, “Spirit of Communal harmony and mutual brother-hood” under the guidance and Chairmanship of Mohd Yousuf Wani Chairman District Legal Services Authority (Principal District and Sessions Judge/ Ganderbal.
Sajad-ur-Rehman Secretary DLSA Ganderbal had made all the required arrangements and preparations for the event.
The need for observing and inculcating in others the spirit of mutual brother hood and communal harmony was highlighted on the occasion by the Speakers.
Chairman DLSA while speaking on the occasion said that spirit and principles of brotherhood are advocated by all religions and laws in the world.
He said that observance of communal harmony and brother hood is the Inner urge of every human being.
While referring to the provisions of preamble of the constitution fundamental duties and directive principles, chairman said that is a constitutional directive as well. He said that mutual brother hood and peace is condition precedent for any sort of development.
Social service and voluntarily help like sentiments should emanate from every reasonable and prudent human being.
President bar Association Ganderbal Sajad Haider Salathi while speaking on the occasion made reference to the religious and moral directives for upholding the communal harmony and mutual brother hood.
Advocate S.M.Mustaseen also spoke on the occasion and stressed on the need for mutual brotherhood and communal harmony.
The legal Assistant Miss Gul Afrooz also spoke on the occasion who made exhaustive reference to the constitutional provisions mandating for communal harmony and mutual brother-hood over and above consideration of caste, status, community etc.
A good number of advocates, staff members and other officers participated on the occasion.
