Army help to rescue 5 injured passengers at Kandni

Agencies -Kishtwar: The timely help provided by the army help in safely evicting the five injured passengers who were injured in an accident near Kandni on Jammu-Kishtwar National Highway.
It has been an endeavour of the Indian Army to provide assistance to the local population of the region, especially during times of emergency. Continuing the same spirit, Indian Army (26 RR) rescued passengers of a white Maruti Suzuki Eco bearing No JK17A-0477 who were travelling from Kishtwar to Thatri on 20 Dec 2020.
On getting first-hand information about the incident, Indian Army representatives carried out a rescue operation where they rescued all five passengers alongwith the driver from the vehicle which had toppled on NH 244 near Drabshala. One of the passenger had suffered concussion, who was shifted to Thatri Govt Hospital by the rescue team while other were given first aid on the spot. This helped in saving precious lives.
The local population was thankful to the Indian Army for their timely intervention in providing assistance to them in times of emergency.
