Srinagar, Jan 22: Joint Forces launched a cordon and search operation in Natipora area of Srinagar outskirts on Friday late afternoon.
A part of Natipora was brought under the siege and door-to-door search operation was launched. The identity cards of locals were thoroughly checked.
“The search operation was sudden and surprising,” said a local to local news agency.
Pertinently, last month, security guard of PDP leader Haji Parvez was shot dead by militants in the same area.
