DC Kishtwar reviews digitization/updation of revenue records

KISHTWAR, JANUARY, 23: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kishtwar Ashok Sharma, today chaired a meeting of officers to review status of digitization and updation of revenue records in the district.

The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Pawan Kumar; SDM Chatroo, Inderjeet Singh Parihar; SDM Paddar, Varunjeet Singh Charak; Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Dr Amir Hussain besides all the Tehsildars.

The revenue officers briefed DC about the status of scanning and updation of revenue records including preparation of Jamabandi, Parat Patwar/Sarkar and progress of Girdawaries.

The DC directed concerned officers to expedite the process of scanning and updation of Jamabandi, girdawaris and allied records on mission mode.

Tehsildars,  Kishtwar, Paddar, Machail, Warwan and Nagseni were asked to update land records and submit it immediately in the office of ACR for further digitisation.

Pending Land acquisition cases were also reviewed in the meeting.

The chair was informed that against 55.4 Kannal   encroached common land, 32.12  Kannal  has been physically retrieved so far, while out of the total 572 Kannal encroached Kachraie land, 186.18 Kannal  has been physical retrieved.

ACR Kishtwar /SDMs and Tehsildars were asked to submit the weekly status of the Domicile certificates issued by the department to the beneficiaries.

Preparedness of district for any Disaster was also discussed threadbare lin the meeting. The Tehsildars were asked to establish Tehsil Level Disaster control Room to mitigate and manage the thunderstorms and other natural calamities.

Tehsildar Kishtwar was asked to identify the land for the allocation of veterinary Dispensary at Dul and submit the pending relief cases for the approval.
