Srinagar, 23 Jan: The cold wave conditions finally came to an end with the dense cloud cover and snowfall across Kashmir Valley on Saturday.

As per Kashmir Weather, an independent weather forecaster, “Snowfall is likely to continue throughout the day though some breaks in between are possible, its intensity will be moderate, however, chances of heavy snowfall at one or two places can’t be ruled out.”

The ski-resort of Gulmarg in north Kashmir was the coldest place in the valley with a low of minus 4.8 degrees Celsius last night. The night temperature at Pahalgam resort settled at a low of minus 1.3 degrees Celsius – up from minus 7.0 degrees Celsius yesterday.
