Wildlife tours and jungle safaris often recommend tourists to observe silence by remaining quiet while looking around. But there are very few people who tend to understand the rule as you will observe from a video that Indian Forest Service officer Susanta Nanda shared on Twitter. The short clip features a group of tourists making an attempt to click pictures of a tiger but what happened next was rather scary.

WHAT DOES THE VIDEO SHOW?

The exact location has not been mentioned but the video appears to have been shot in a national park or forest reserve of sorts. While on a jungle safari, two cars waited beside a low wall as tourists attempted to take pictures of a tiger on the other side of the boundary.

One of the tourists exclaimed upon spotting the tiger, “Yeh raha, yeh raha (It is here).” However, the tiger soon jumped onto the wall and stood just a few feet away from the people. As the tourists panicked, some of them advised them to remain quiet.

“Idiotitis…When human brain shuts down and mouth keeps talking. Appreciate the anger management of the tiger. But that can’t be guaranteed in future,” Susanta Nanda said in the caption of their post.
