Sumbal, Feb 04: A complete shutdown is being observed in Sumbal town of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district today against the Power Development Department over eratic electricity supply.
Eyewitnesses told News Agency that all the shops, commercial and establishments were shut in the area. The traffic was also thin on the roads.
As per local residents the shutdown was observed against PDD for unscheduled and long hours of power cuts in Sumbal and other adjoining villages since past several months thus giving tough time to local residents especially students appearing in different examinations.
