DDC Kupwara reviews progress of B2V3, 14th FC works

KUPWARA, FEBRUARY 05: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kupwara, Imam Din today convened a meeting of concerned officers to review the progress of developmental works taken under Back to Village 3rd (B2V3) and 14th FC programme in the district.

The meeting was informed that 1099 different works have been taken in hand in 385 panchayats of the district including in border areas of Karnah, Keran and Machil.

It was further informed that 721 works have got Administrative Approval, while as to ensure speedily disposal of works programme, it was decided that concerned officers shall accord Administrative approval according to their competence.

The DDC also reviewed the progress of development works under 14th FC and it was decided that the works plan shall be finalized within one week. The concerned officers have been vested powers to accord administrative approval.

He stressed upon the officers to accelerate the developmental tempo in the district, adding that people of the district have pinned hope on the Administration for quick and speedy development of the district.

Among others, Joint Director Planning, Abdul Majeed, Assistant Commissioner Development, District Panchayat Officers, Chief Medical Officer were present in the meeting.
