GANDERBAL, FEBRUARY 09: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Shafqat Iqbal today impressed upon the concerned officers to speed up the pace of work on these works so that they get completed within the stipulated time frame.
The DC said this during a meeting of district officers to review the progress on works approved under the Back to Village program in the district.
On the occasion, the DC sought a detailed account of various ongoing works approved under B2V1 program from the concerned officers who briefed him about the physical and financial progress on such works.
The meeting also discussed the status of work estimation and tendering process of the works approved under B2V2 and B2V3 program.
The DC directed the concerned to complete the work estimation process in current month besides initiate tendering process on all such works which are approved under B2V2 and B2V3 so that works are taken up at an earliest.
He also stressed for regular monitoring of works and directed the officers to meet the targets and set timelines for the completion of vital projects in the district.
The meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer, Ganderbal, Executive Engineers of PHE, R&B, and PMGSY besides others concerned.
