Srinagar: National Conference (NC) Senior Leader and Former MLA Ganderbal Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar on Friday met party vice president Omer Abdullah in Srinagar.
In a statement issued here Omer Abdullah congratulated NC District President Ishfaq Jabbar for winning the DDC Elections. He also congratulated Nuzhat Ishfaq for being elected as DDC chairperson.
He observed that the elected chairperson of DDC Ganderbal will focus on the empowerment of the people especially women at the grassroots level.
Abdullah described the win as the success of people who reposed their trust and confidence in National Conference.
Meanwhile Ishfaq Jabbar has expressed his gratitude to the people of Ganderbal.
People have chosen you as their representatives and it must be ensured that you play a pivotal role in this journey of development and progress,”
